frequently asked questions

contract

Can I make changes to the contract?

Yes! Both parties may make changes to the contract as long as we both know about these changes and acknowledge them. But, no more changes should be made seven (7) days prior to the event because this is the time we start preparing for your event.

What do you mean by negotiable?

All our packages are negotiable. This means that everything is customizable for you, depending on your preferences, needs, and budget. If you would like to get a more affordable price, we can adjust a few things from the inclusions so that we can both reach an agreement, that doesn't have to compromise the quality of the food, styling, or other services.

If I reserved for 100 pax, and only 80 pax came to my event, can I get a refund for the 20 pax that didn't come?

We understand where you're coming from, but since we've bought and cooked food for 100 pax, we can't refund the money for the people who didn't attend. Good news is you get to take home the excess food in the buffet at the end of the event!

How many hours do you need to set-up?

We typically need 3-6 hours to set up. If it's just catering equipment, tables, and chairs, 2-3 hours will be enough. If you're availing of event styling, we will need more time to make sure everything is perfect.

Do you have buffer food?

We usually add 10%-20% more food in case the number of attendees would exceed the number of reserved guests as stated in the contract. During the event, we will tell you or your representative if it's about to reach or has reached the number of reserved guests. The client will only pay for the buffer food if the client advises us to serve those guests. The client is not obliged to pay for the buffer food if it is unused, and the caterer reserves the right to bring back the buffer food with them.

Can you serve only half of my guests this dish and the other half another dish?

We can, only if this will be served to the presidential/V.I.P. table. However, if it will be on the buffet table, we're sorry, we can't as people will think we didn't serve them enough food.

What does non-refundable but deductible mean?

It means you can't refund the money but it will be deducted to the total contract price.

Do we really need to pay in full seven days before the event? Why?

Yes. We're not strict about downpayments, except when you're getting our suppliers. But for this, we need to be strict about it. It's not that we don't trust you, but we've had instances in the past wherein some clients will cancel just a few days before the actual event. By the time they cancel, we've already bought everything we need for their event.

What are your available modes of payment?

  • Cash, may be given to the following people:
    • Vangie Polborido, our trusted cashier
    • Bernadette Itaralde
